SASSA Black Card Activation
Got your new SASSA Black card today? Well, you need to activate it before you can use it. If you are not sure about the SASSA Black card activation method, then worry not, I am here to assist you.
I have been testing the SASSA card activations for 2 years. I have 10 friends who are receiving the SRD R370 grant payment, and they all get help from me whenever they need to activate their SASSA cards.
So I have a good experience of how to activate a card for the first time. Also, I will let you know some precautions about the new card activation.
How to Activate a New SASSA Black Card?
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Sign the Card
First, turn your card over and sign on the signature strip at the back. This is important for security.
Step 2: Find the Nearest Postbank ATM
Dial *120*355# on your phone. This code helps you find the nearest Postbank ATM near your location.
Step 3: Go to the ATM and Insert Your Card
Visit the ATM and insert your SASSA Black card into the machine. This should be your first time using it.
Step 4: Begin the Activation Process
Once the card is inside, the ATM screen will say:
- “Do you want to activate your card?”
- Press the āYesā or āContinueā button to move ahead.
Step 5: Set a 4-Digit PIN
- Now, you must choose a 4-digit secret PIN for your card.
- Enter it using the ATMās keypad.
- The machine will ask you to enter the same PIN again to confirm it. Do that.
Step 6: Activation Complete
The ATM will now show a message:
- “Your card is activated and ready to use.”
- Remove your card. It is now fully active.
