The SASSA SRD R370 Grant is Extended for March 2026
The Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana, has announced the 2025 budget. During his budget speech, he revealed that the SASSA SRD grant has been extended for one more year. The SRD R370 grant was supposed to end on March 31st, 2025, but it has now been extended to March 31st, 2026.
Those who haven’t checked their SASSA status should do so now and see if they qualify for the R370 payment next month.
The Finance Ministry has granted R35.2 billion to continue the Social Relief of Distress COVID-19 Special grant. This amount shows that the government is very serious about providing financial aid to those who are unemployed.
What is SASSA SRD Grant?
